Due to COVID-19 and the shutdown of the bowling industry in the State of California, our youth bowlers have not had the opportunity to bowl and receive scholarships for their accomplishments.
We have many Class of 2021 Graduating Seniors who have been bowling for much of their school years and this will be their last chance to earn scholarship money for their continued education. Nor Cal Bowling Centers would like to provide the opportunity for these graduates to earn a scholarship this year with a special Class of 2021 Pandemic Scholarship.
We will be awarding six (6) – $250.00 scholarships to seniors chosen by our Nor Cal Youth Committee. Applicants must submit an application and a 1000 words or less essay on “How COVID-19 has Affected Your Senior Year of High School”. Eligible applicants must have been a member of the YBA for the 2019-20 season and be a graduating senior for the class of 2021.
Our Mission is to increase the value of our member’s investments by promoting and improving the image of bowling, strengthening the professionalism and providing resources to increase the profitability of our member centers.
